INTERNATIONAL PRESS CONFERENCE FOR RELIGIOUS PEACE
Organized by Embrace Foundation in 1985 at the United Nations Chapel. Religious leaders from around the world representing the: Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist, Sufi, Baha'i, Jain, Sikh and Zoroastrian traditions (encompassing many denominations) addressed the media on issues of objective reporting in areas of conflict. They also emphasized the need for less sensationalism and more positivism in news reporting worldwide.
PurposeEmbrace Foundation is a non-profit, educational foundation set up to create better understanding between people of different religions, cultures, traditions and world philosophies.
